Cabinet debate in modern studies

S3 have had a fierce debate in modern studies today. Each pair was responsible for convincing President Zuma (Miss Rukin) that their departments budget should not be reduced in order to raise funds for the World Cup. The pupils have researched and written speeches, and today they prsented their conclusions to our mock cabinet. the purpose of the activity was yo understand how many of South Africa's problems are linked- all if the class have demonstrated this understanding in their speeches in which they showed how helping their department would help others.
