S2 were following on from their work on Keith Haring by looking at the wider "Hip Hop" movement that he sprung out of. This began in the 1970's in America and included break dancing and graffiti. We learned about the origins of graffiti as well as graffiti in it's modern form. We then used the Tate Gallery's web site to have a go ourselves: http://kids.tate.org.uk/games/street-art/
