Howson and Degas

S4/5 artists began researching contemporary artist Peter Howson as part of their Art and Design studies unit today. They will also look at the work of Degas and complete a short research project about these 2 artists. 

We will be visiting the St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art in Glasgow on Thursday 24th September to see an exhibition of some of Peter Howson's works on famine. We will also be visiting the Burrell Collection on Wednesday 7th October to take part in a workshop about Degas and the Impressionists.
